Retention and scope¶
One node, one-month retention. No cluster, tenant isolation, enterprise feature set, Grafana, or Prometheus agent is included. The native server port stays on loopback. Metrics older than the retention window are removed. Add disk for your ingestion volume. A live root volume is not a backup.
The import and query example is in Getting started. A successful import can take a few seconds before the query returns the sample.
Listen address¶
Forward port 8443 with Session Manager. Do not disable certificate
verification. Do not delete /etc/victoriametrics as a reset. The
certificate expires after 365 days.
