Quick start
Full guide →What is on the image¶
This guide matches Marketplace package 0.1.0 (OpenCode 1.19.4). Check the listing for the version currently on offer.
- OpenCode 1.19.4, run from the terminal as
ubuntu. - A sample file,
/var/lib/opencode/workspace/calculator.py, prepared on first boot. Later boots keep existing work. - A labelled local fixture that edits files and checks them with Python.
It does not call a paid model. Its result and the original mode
0600output are under~/opencode-demo. - A walkthrough,
/opt/sushi/docs/demo.sh, and image notes at/opt/sushi/docs/README.md. - Source and component notices under
/opt/opencode/inputsand/usr/share/doc/opencode.
There is no persistent web listener, browser URL, or inbound application port. You do not forward a port for OpenCode itself.
Recommended instance¶
t3.medium (4 GiB of memory), x86_64, with IMDSv2 and an encrypted gp3 root
volume of at least 32 GiB. That size is what the listing usage instructions
say. The getting-started page linked from the listing says 24 GiB. Use 32 GiB
so the launch matches the usage instructions.
Attach an instance profile that can use Session Manager. Allow the outbound access Session Manager needs, and the outbound access your model provider needs. Leave application ports closed.
Billing¶
The listing states a software rate of USD 0.03 per running instance-hour. Confirm the offer before you subscribe. EC2, EBS, data transfer, and your model-provider usage are billed separately. The supplied local fixture does not call a paid model.
Tutorial¶
Where to go next¶
- Getting started: subscribe, launch, run the fixture, and send one task to Amazon Bedrock.
- Configuration: where the sample lives, and how the Bedrock role is selected.
- Operations: backups, replacement instances, and support.
- Troubleshooting: when the fixture and a model call tell you different things.
Upstream project¶
OpenCode is an open source terminal coding agent. Software Sushi packages this image independently and does not claim upstream or AWS endorsement. Original software and dependencies retain their own licenses.
The OpenCode documentation describes the upstream
project. Features and commands there can differ from this image. For this
package, use these pages and /opt/sushi/docs/README.md on the instance.
