Operations

Check PDF Translator, protect its credentials, and back up its state.

Security model

  • Sign-in password and TLS certificate are created on first boot. Do not print the password.
  • Provider key lives in /etc/pdf-translator/provider.json after you add it. Do not print it.
  • No inbound application port. Use a Session Manager forward to port 8443.

Walkthrough

sudo -iu ubuntu bash /opt/sushi/docs/demo.sh

Backups

The listing points backup detail at /opt/sushi/docs/README.md. Keep /etc/pdf-translator/provider.json with any PDFs you need to retain. A new Marketplace version is a new instance. The sign-in password and certificate belong to the instance that created them.

The listing shows USD 0.03 per hour on t3.large. EC2, EBS, data transfer, and model usage are separate. See Software Sushi.
