Troubleshooting¶
Resolve connection, sign-in, and text-recognition problems.
The page does not load¶
Cause: cloud-init has not finished, or port 8443 is not forwarded.
Fix: wait for cloud-init, run the walkthrough as ubuntu, then forward
port 8443 and open it over HTTPS. See
Sign in.
Sign-in fails¶
Cause: the username or password does not match
~/.config/sushi/paddleocr/access.json on this instance.
Fix: read that file in the ubuntu session. Do not copy it into a
ticket.
The shell command prints nothing useful¶
Cause: sushi-paddleocr-api ocr expects an image path. The listing's
example is page.png.
Fix:
Use a PNG or JPEG. Other formats are outside the listing.
Boxes do not match the words you expected¶
Cause: the model returns a confidence score with each word. Low confidence is a result, not a tunnel failure.
Fix: compare the JSON word, score, and box with the image on the page. The listing does not document a threshold you can change.
