Troubleshooting

Checks that follow from the Vane listing. The image notes are /opt/sushi/docs/README.md.

The walkthrough does not finish

Cause: cloud-init is still running, or the shell is not ubuntu.

Fix:

sudo cloud-init status --wait
sudo -iu ubuntu bash /opt/sushi/docs/demo.sh

Port 3000 does not answer on your computer

Cause: the forwarding session is not running, or it targets another instance. No inbound rule publishes the port.

Fix: start the Session Manager forward in Open port 3000 and leave it open.

Answers fail after the demo

Cause: the chat or embedding endpoint is missing, or the key was placed in user data or a log instead of the mode 0600 file.

Fix: write the endpoint to a mode 0600 file and import it as /opt/sushi/docs/README.md describes. The image does not include a model key.
