Operations

Check PaddleOCR, protect its sign-in credentials, and back up stored jobs.

Security model

  • Per-instance password in ~/.config/sushi/paddleocr/access.json.
  • No inbound application port. Session Manager does not need a key pair.
  • Images stay on the instance. The listing does not describe an external OCR call.

Checks

sudo -iu ubuntu bash /opt/sushi/docs/demo.sh
sushi-paddleocr-api ocr page.png

Backups

Back up stored jobs before you replace the instance. A new Marketplace version is a new instance. The password file belongs with those jobs if you need to sign in as the same account. The listing does not name the job directory; use /opt/sushi/docs/README.md on the instance.

Support

Email info@softwaresushi.com. Omit the password file and customer images.

The listing states USD 0.03 per instance-hour. EC2, EBS, and data transfer are separate. See Software Sushi.
